Blackdyrge returns with a new template and the third installment in the "synergy" line. The devout template puts your monsters and villains in touch with the divine, granting them a number of interesting and effective abilities related to clerical magic. A devout creature can smite enemies with divine energy, tap into one of the domain powers of his deity, and even heal his wounds with positive energy, all without a single level of cleric. However, as with all the templates in the synergy line, the devout template grants more potent powers to creatures with at least 5 levels in a specific PC class, cleric in this case, making them true paragons of holy (or unholy) devotion.

So use a little divine intervention and give your clerics, dark lords, and holy warriors a new twist with Blackdirge Publishing and the devout template.
