A town wizard has lost his spell book and his talisman. Without them, he will never be able to fulfill his duties, and he is desperate to get them back. The party will escort him into the former home of a dangerous vampire, in hopes that the goblins are the only things they will run into. This is another Legend Quest introductory level mission that can follow The Amberrose Incident or stand on its own. As an introductory mission, the threat level is low, as long as the adventurers use some thought. Foolish bravado will doom them. This mission includes some strategy and some tricks to keep the players and their characters on their toes. The Empty Crypt is a 23-page book. Six new sample characters are included. Some setting material is provided, but is not essential to the adventure.
